Article 1 – Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions of Sale, the following terms shall have the meanings set out below:
Consumer: Any natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft, or profession and entering into a distance contract with Zanele Johannesburg.
Seller: The natural or legal person offering products remotely to consumers, referred to herein as Zanele Johannesburg.
Distance Contract: Any contract concluded between Zanele Johannesburg and the consumer under an organised distance sales system, without the simultaneous physical presence of the parties.
Right of Withdrawal: The consumer's right to withdraw from a distance contract within the applicable legal period.

Before entering into any contract, these Terms are made available to the consumer in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
By placing an order, the consumer confirms their unconditional acceptance of these Terms. Where mandatory consumer protection laws provide greater rights to the consumer, those rights shall prevail.
Article 3 – Our Products
We make every reasonable effort to display and describe our products and services as accurately as possible. However, colours and appearance may vary depending on your screen, device, and display settings.
We cannot guarantee that the appearance of products on your device will exactly reflect their appearance in person.
Product descriptions, availability, and specifications may be changed at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to discontinue products or limit quantities available per person, region, or jurisdiction where permitted by law.
Article 4 – Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Zanele Johannesburg reserves the right to accept or refuse an order where legally permitted. An order is considered confirmed only once confirmation has been issued.
Payment must be successfully received or authorised before the order can be processed.
Please carefully review your order before submitting it, as cancellation may not always be possible once the order has been confirmed and entered into processing.

You confirm that purchases are intended for personal use and not for commercial resale unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.1 – Order Modifications
After confirmation, you have a maximum of 1 hour to request a modification to your order, including changes to the delivery address, products, sizes, or colours.

Please include your order number and clearly explain the requested modification.
After this period, the order may have entered the logistics and fulfilment process and may no longer be eligible for modification.
Zanele Johannesburg cannot guarantee that a modification will be possible, even if requested within the 1-hour period, as this depends on the processing status of the order and product availability.
If the order has already been shipped, modifications are no longer possible. You will need to wait for delivery and, where applicable, submit a return request in accordance with our Refund Policy.
Article 5 – Right of Withdrawal
Where applicable under consumer protection law, the consumer has a period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the products to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to provide a reason.
Zanele Johannesburg additionally offers, as a commercial policy, an extended return period of 30 days from receipt, subject to the conditions stated in our Refund Policy.
5.1 – Exercising the Right of Withdrawal

Where applicable, the consumer may use a statutory withdrawal form, although this is not mandatory unless required by applicable law.
5.2 – Return Conditions
Products must be returned:
- Unused
- Unwashed
- In their original packaging
- With all original tags and accessories intact
Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, the consumer must return the products within a maximum of 14 days following notification of withdrawal, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the consumer, except where the return results from an error by Zanele Johannesburg, such as receiving an incorrect or defective product, or where applicable law requires otherwise.
5.3 – Refunds
When a statutory right of withdrawal applies, Zanele Johannesburg will refund payments that must be reimbursed under applicable consumer protection law, which may include:
- The price of the products
- Standard delivery costs, excluding additional costs resulting from the consumer choosing a delivery method other than the standard delivery method offered
Where required by applicable law, refunds will be processed within a maximum of 14 days from the date on which Zanele Johannesburg is informed of the consumer's decision to withdraw.
However, where legally permitted, Zanele Johannesburg may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or until the consumer provides evidence that the goods have been shipped back, whichever occurs first.
The refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless the consumer expressly agrees to another method.
5.4 – Exclusions
Subject to applicable consumer protection legislation, the right of withdrawal may not apply to certain products, including:
- Personalised or custom-made items
- Sealed products that cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery
- Other products excluded from withdrawal rights under applicable law
Article 6 – Prices and Billing
Prices may be changed without prior notice. The price applicable to your purchase is the price displayed and confirmed at the time the order is placed.
Unless otherwise stated, prices may not include applicable taxes, delivery charges, customs duties, or import charges.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date billing and account information.
You confirm that:
- Your payment information is valid
- You are authorised to use the selected payment method
- Payments associated with your order will be honoured
Article 7 – Shipping and Delivery
Estimated delivery times are provided for informational purposes and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where required by applicable consumer law, the risk of loss or damage passes to the consumer when the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, physically receives the products.

- South Africa: 5 to 10 business days
- International: 7 to 14 business days
Delivery times are estimates and delays may occur due to customs procedures, high-demand periods, carrier disruptions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Unless otherwise stated, all website content, including text, branding, graphics, designs, photographs, logos, and other materials, belongs to Zanele Johannesburg or is used under appropriate licence.
Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use of protected content is prohibited.

Products are supplied in accordance with applicable consumer protection and product conformity requirements.
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please contact us as soon as possible.

- Report the issue within 5 days of delivery

This notification period does not limit any mandatory statutory rights that may apply.
